- Time savings during installation: Quick wiring via screw terminals for 18–26 AWG – tool-assisted with flat-head screwdriver ≤ 2.5 mm.
- Precise contacting of audio/microphone signals: 4-pin 3.5 mm jack with assigned terminal strip (L, R, V, +) – ideal for audio, headset, or control cables in prototyping and test environments.
- Side terminal strip for space-saving installation: Compact connection solution with adjacent screw terminal strip – ideal for narrow adapter panels or confined test environments.
- Versatile industrial applications: For signal processing, control engineering, multimedia interfaces, or development laboratories with analog audio integration.
- High signal quality: Insulation resistance ≥ 10 MΩ at 300 V DC and rated current up to 1 A – robust and suitable for continuous operation under industrial conditions.
The InLine® 3.5 mm 4-pin jack-to-terminal block adapter offers an easy way to wire analog audio and microphone signals without soldering. The 3.5 mm jack plug (TRRS) is directly connected to a 4-pin screw terminal block. The connections are clearly labeled: L (left), R (right), V (microphone/voltage), + (common ground or shielding) – ideal for signal splitting in headset or combo plug applications.
The screw terminals with a 5.0 mm pitch support wires in the 18–26 AWG range. Wiring is tool-assisted using a flat-blade screwdriver with a blade width ≤ 2.5 mm. The compact design allows for use in confined installation situations, e.g., in test setups, development laboratories, or audio interfaces. The EVA insulation layer provides protection when mounted on conductive surfaces.
